Yu Yang/Wang Xiao Li of China are in top spot, followed by compatriots Ma Jin/Tang Jin Hua. Last year China’s women performed well and there were several Chinese pairs in the top 20 in the mixed doubles at one time, winning them the nickname the “Golden Flower Legion.”
However, this year China is not the only country to achieve this feat and the ROK, like China, has five pairs in the top 20 at present.

In particular, Badminton World Championship title winners Eom Hye Won/Jang Ye Na and Chinese Taipei Open winners KIM Ha NaJUNG Kyung Eun are now ranked 5th and 6th in the world, respectively.
