Korea Woman Double Lee Soo Hee/Shin Seung Chan

[VICTOR] VICTOR Indonesia International Challenge 2011 has entered its third day. Korea’s woman double Lee So Hee/Shin Seung Chan defeated Indonesian first seed Gebby Ristiyani Imawan / Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah with 21-19 21-15 points.

Surabaya’s sunny afternoon was filled with future’s badminton stars’ smash and jump to win the competition’s top 16 tickets. Lee Soo Hee/Shin Seung Chan and Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah worked really hard for the ticket. First set was started with hard smashes and long difficult loops given by both sides to win the points, in which, both sides were always close. Slight mistakes from one’s side will give other’s huge benefit. Either Lee/Shin or Imawan/Nuraidah has started to lose their energy on the second set, both sides played slow pace to recollect their energy. Lee/Shin started to show their hard-hit smash and dynamic jump on last points that opened the point-gap and lead them to top 16 with 21-19 21-15

Philippines’ had to leave early after its woman single Malvine Ann Venice Alcala was beaten by Indonesian first seed Fransiska Ratnasari with 21-14 21-14. Philippines/Indonesia mix double Minarti Timur/Tri Kusharjanto was beaten by Rendra Wijaya/Maria Elfira Christina in a friendly and dynamic match with 21-14 21-17. VICTOR Germany’s athlete Cisita Jones Jansen with Indonesian partner Sylvinna Kurniawan was also defeated by Japanese’s Miki Komari/Nao Miyoshi on a 3 set match.

VICTOR will have Hong Ji Hoon on man single, Shin Seung Chan/Lee So Hee and Kim So Young/Ko Ah Ra on top 16 match.
