Lee/Jung have taken an impressive six titles in 2011 so far
TheDenmark Open and the French Open were held in October. In both tournaments, South Korea’sLee Yong Dae/ Jung Jae Sung beat their bitter rivals Cai Yun/Fu Hai Feng of China to take the men’s doubles title. So far this year the pair have performed outstandingly and have won six titles, the Korea Open Super Series, the German Open, the Thailand Open, the China Masters, the Denmark Open and theFrench Open , and rank No.2 in the world currently.
As for Chinese Taipei, youngster Tai Tzu Ying has made it to the last eight three times in succession and, at the French Open, took the scalps of top players Bowen of Denmark, Hong Kong’s top female player, Yip Pui Yin, and China’s world champion, Wang Yi Han, on her way to the semi-finals. She faced some of the world’s best players without fear, handing in an excellent report card and another good performance is expected from her at the coming Hong Kong Open Super Series.

With regards to Victor stars, South Korea’s Park Sung Hwan moved up into the top 10 in the men’s singles rankings, while his compatriot, young talent Sung Ji Hyun, rose up to ninth in the women’s singles from 13th on the back of her first international tournament victory at the Taipei Open.
Other top ten spots are held by Chinese Taipei’s golden girls Chen Wen Hsin/Chien Yu-chin in the women’s doubles, Chen Hung Lin/ Chen Wen Hsin in the mixed doubles, South Korea’s women’s singles player Bae Youn Joo, men’s doubles pair Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon Seong, women’s doubles pair Ha Jung Eun/Kim Min Jung, mixed doubles pair Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun and Vietnam’s men’s singles player Nguyễn Tiến Minh.
In the BWF World Rankings for October 2011,Lee Chong Wei in the men’s singles, Cai Yun/Fu Hai Feng in the men’s doubles, Wang Xiao Li/Yu Yang in the women’s doubles and Zhang Nan/Zhao Yun Lei in the mixed doubles retained the top spot, while the previous world No. 2 women’s singles player, China’s Wang Shixian, moved into the top spot.
